General Indications:
Adjunct treatment for diarrhea in children under 5 years of age. Prevents or treats dehydration and prevents nutritional deficiency. Reduces the duration and severity of dehydration.
Composition:
Each tablet contains: zinc sulfate monohydrate 20 mg
Dosage:
– Children 2–6 months: 10 mg (half a tablet) once daily for 10 consecutive days (even after the diarrhea has stopped).
– Children 6 months–5 years: 1 tablet once daily for 10 consecutive days.
Directions for Use:
Use Zinkid together with oral rehydration salts (ORS), before or after meals.
