General Indications:
Adjunct therapy for diarrhea in children, combined with ORS (Oral Rehydration Salts).
Composition:
Each 5 ml contains: 54.9 mg zinc sulfate monohydrate (equivalent to 20 mg zinc)
Dosage:
Infants 2–6 months: 0.5 measuring spoonful (2.5 mL) daily for 10 days, even after the diarrhea has stopped.
Children 6 months–5 years: 1 measuring spoonful (5 mL) daily for 10 days, even after the diarrhea has stopped.
Directions for Use:
Take 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals; may be taken with food to reduce digestive discomfort.
