Indications:
Relieves symptoms of headache and toothache, and reduces fever.
Composition:
Paracetamol 120 mg
Directions for Use:
0–1 year: ½ measuring spoonful (2.5 mL), 3–4 times daily
1–2 years: 1 measuring spoonful (5 mL), 3–4 times daily
2–6 years: 1–2 measuring spoonfuls (5–10 mL), 3–4 times daily
6–9 years: 2–3 measuring spoonfuls (10–15 mL), 3–4 times daily
9–12 years: 3–4 measuring spoonfuls (15–20 mL), 3–4 times daily
Or as directed by a doctor.
Mechanism of Action:
As an analgesic, it works by raising the pain threshold.
As an antipyretic, it is believed to act directly on the heat-regulating center in the hypothalamus.
Warnings & Precautions:
– Use with caution in patients with kidney disease.
– If fever does not subside after 2 days or pain does not go away after 5 days, contact a healthcare facility immediately.
– Use in patients who consume alcohol may increase the risk of liver damage.
Contraindications:
– Patients with severe liver impairment.
– Patients hypersensitive to this medicine.
Side Effects:
Long-term use and high doses may cause liver damage.
