Calcium Lactate

Indications:
Helps meet calcium needs.

Composition:
Calcium lactate 500 mg

Directions for Use:
Children: 1 tablet 2–3 times daily
Adults: 1 tablet 3 times daily
Or as directed by a doctor.

Warnings & Precautions:
Use with caution in patients with impaired kidney function or a history of urinary tract stones.

Side Effects:
Hypercalcemia may cause symptoms such as anorexia, lethargy, muscle and joint pain, nausea, vomiting, thirst, polyuria, and cardiac arrhythmia.

Contraindications:
Patients with impaired kidney function.

Drug Interactions:
– Reduces absorption of tetracycline.
– Increases the effect of digitalis.
– Increases the effect of digitalis and the likelihood of digitalis toxicity.

Storage:
Store below 30°C and protect from light.
